A Pawan Kumar-written and -directed action/thriller movie in the Malayalam language, Dhoomam (translated as Smoke) was originally titled C10H14N2. Vijay Kiragandur over at Hombale Films produced the movie as their first attempt at Malayalam cinema. Along with Roshan Mathew, Achyuth Kumar, Anu Mohan, Vineeth, and Fahadh Faasil, it also stars Aparna Balamurali and Vineeth. On June 23, 2023, it was put into circulation to mixed reviews.
The movie was billed as a psychological suspense thriller that looked into identity, memory, and perception. It tells the tale of a man who wakes up without any recollection of his history and must put together who he is. He discovers a sinister secret that could endanger him as he proceeds.
Both the present, where Fahad is with his wife, and the past, where he still has his marketing job at his friend’s company, are depicted in the film as parallel storylines.
