Hansal Mehta is the director of the 2022 Indian Hindi-language biographical action thriller film Faraaz (transl. tall[a]). T-Series and Benaras Media Works are the film’s producers. Juhi Babbar, Aamir Ali, Aditya Rawal, Zahan Kapoor, Jatin Sarin, and Pallak Lalwani are among the actors who support the ensemble cast in the movie. Six newbies, including Kapoor, Reshham Sahaani, Ninaad Bhatt, Harshal Pawar, and Sachin Lalwani, are also included.
It depicts the Holey Artisan Bakery attack in July 2016 in Dhaka, which shocked Bangladesh and was based on an actual event. The movie had its world premiere on October 15, 2022, at the BFI London Film Festival, and it was released in India on February 3, 2023.
