The 2023 action thriller Retribution was written and directed by Chris Salmanpour and Nimród Antal. Liam Neeson, Noma Dumezweni, Lilly Aspell, Jack Champion, Embeth Davidtz, and Matthew Modine are among the film’s cast members. The story follows a melancholy man (Neeson) who gets locked in his automobile after getting a warning that it will explode if he gets out. This is the third adaptation of the 2015 Spanish film El desconocido.
Retribution, an international co-production involving France, Germany, Spain, and the United States, was released on August 23, 2023 by StudioCanal in France and on August 25 by Lionsgate and Roadside Attractions in the United States.
