Sherlock Holmes, a private investigator, and Dr. John Watson stop Lord Henry Blackwood, who had killed five other young women in a similar manner, from ritually killing a woman in 1890. Police and Inspector Lestrade take Blackwood into custody.
After living at 221B Baker Street for three months, Watson is moving out and getting engaged to Mary Morstan. Although he appreciates their adventures together, Watson is looking forward to being free of Holmes’ antics. After receiving a death sentence, Blackwood asks to meet Holmes and informs him that there will be three more unstoppable deaths that will drastically alter the course of history. After that, Blackwood is hung.
