Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety (transl. Sonu’s Titu’s Sweety) is a 2018 Indian Hindi comedy film directed and written by Luv Ranjan whose banner Luv Films co-produced it along with T-Series. The film was jointly distributed by T-Series and AA Films with editing by Akiv Ali. Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety features Kartik Aaryan, Nushrat Bharucha and Sunny Singh in main roles of Sonu, Sweety and Titu respectively. Supporting starcast includes Alok Nath and Ishita Raj Sharma with a cameo appearance by Sonnalli Seygall. The film marks the fourth collaboration of Bharucha and Aaryan with Ranjan, as well as the third time Singh and Sharma team up with the trio.
Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety premiered in global cinemas on 23 February 2018, and became a surprising blockbuster. The film surprised the audience and critics by surpassing 100 Crore Club domestically net, and wrapped up its Indian net gross at billion. Earning over 1.52 billion against budget of 200 million, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety was one of the highest-grossing Bollywood films of 2018 and also emerged as the highest-grossing Indian film not featuring well-known and most popular superstars globally.
