The series debuted on Netflix on December 18, 2020, and it was based on the Naver webtoon of the same name by Kim Kan-bi and Hwang Young-chan, which garnered over 1.4 billion net views.
Cha Hyun-soo, a recluse, relocates to a new apartment after his family perishes in an accident. Strange events begin to happen in his new building, soon upsetting his peaceful life. Hyun-soo and the other residents fight for their lives as people transform into monsters that assume the shape of their secret desires.
