The Jungle Book 2016 3D hollywood movies review

The Jungle Book is a 2016 American adventure drama film written by Justin Marks, produced by Walt Disney Pictures, and directed and produced by Jon Favreau. This movie is a live-action/CGI remake of Walt Disney’s 1967 animated feature film of the same name, which is based on Rudyard Kipling’s eponymous collection of works.

Neel Sethi plays Mowgli, an orphaned human youngster who embarks on a quest of self-discovery while dodging the ominous Shere Khan with the help of his animal protectors. Bill Murray, Ben Kingsley, Idris Elba, Lupita Nyong’o, Scarlett Johansson, Giancarlo Esposito, and Christopher Walken all contribute voice and motion capture performances to this movie.

The premise of the movie was created by Favreau, Marks, and producer Brigham Taylor as a compromise between Disney’s animated feature film adaption and Rudyard Kipling’s original works, including elements from both into the movie. Filming began in 2014, with all of the main action taking place in Los Angeles. To depict the various creatures and environments in this movie, a lot of computer-generated imagery was used.
