The year 2023 saw the release of Animal, an action thriller in Hindi language that was co-written and directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, along with Pranay Reddy Vanga and Saurabh Gupta. Together with Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Rashmika Mandanna, Tripti Dimri, and Bobby Deol, Ranbir Kapoor plays a violent man who has a tumultuous connection with his father in the movie.
Announced in December 2020 was Animal. The main photographic window was April 2022–April 2023. Animal is one of the longest Indian films ever created, clocking in at 201 minutes. On December 1, 2023, the movie was released in theaters to generally favorable reviews from critics.
