The 2017 American animated comedy Despicable Me 3 was made by Illumination and released by Universal Pictures. It is the third primary and fourth overall Despicable Me film, and the follow-up to Despicable Me 2 (2013). The screenplay for the movie was written by Cinco Paul and Ken Daurio, and it was produced by Chris Meledandri and Janet Healy. Pierre Coffin and Kyle Balda directed the movie, while Eric Guillon served as co-director and character designer.
Julie Andrews, Dana Gaier, Steve Coogan, Steve Carell, Kristen Wiig, Trey Parker, Coffin, Miranda Cosgrove, and Jenny Slate are among the actors who lend their voices to the characters. In the movie, after his program is canceled, Gru teams up with his long-lost twin brother Dru to stop 1980s child actor Balthazar Bratt from wrecking Hollywood.
