In 2023, Raaj Shaandilyaa will helm the comedy-drama Dream Girl 2, which Ekta and Shobha Kapoor will produce for Balaji Motion Pictures. Ayushmann Khurrana plays the lead role in the film, which also stars Paresh Rawal, Annu Kapoor, Rajpal Yadav, Vijay Raaz, Asrani, Abhishek Banerjee, Manjot Singh, and Seema Pahwa and serves as a spiritual sequel to the 2019 film Dream Girl. In the movie, a man dresses as a woman and engages in cross-dressing, which causes a lot of misunderstanding.
