When James “Jimmy” Cullen gets out of prison, he gets his 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle, a gun, and a list of names. He then goes to an office in Bakersfield, California, where he kills a guy. Roy Grone, the man who supplied him the car and rifle, is visited by him later, and he makes him give him more names. Cullen is being pursued by detectives Cicero and Humphries in the meantime, and a hitman named “Killer” has been recruited to assassinate Cullen.
