Devashish Makhija is the writer and director of the 2023 Indian Hindi-language thriller Joram, which is produced by Zee Studios in association with Makhijafilm. Starring are Tannishtha Chatterjee, Smita Tambe, and Manoj Bajpayee.
With the release of the dark drama Bhonsle in 2018 and the short Taandav in 2016, this is Makhija and Bajpayee’s third joint project.
Joram debuted in theaters on December 8, 2023. The movie was nominated for three awards at the 69th Filmfare Awards, including Best Film (Critics) and Best Actor (Critics), for which Bajpayee won.
