Mission Impossible Dead Reckoning 1 (2023) hollywood movies review

Dead Reckoning from Mission: Impossible Christopher McQuarrie is the director of the 2023 American spy action movie Part One, which he co-wrote with Erik Jendresen. It is the seventh entry in the Mission: Impossible movie series and the sequel to Mission: Impossible – Fallout (2018). Along with Hayley Atwell, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, Vanessa Kirby, Esai Morales, Pom Klementieff, Mariela Garriga, and Henry Czerny, it stars Tom Cruise as Ethan Hunt. In the movie, Hunt and his IMF team battle “the Entity,” a potent renegade AI, in an effort to keep it out of the wrong hands.

The seventh and eighth Mission: Impossible movies, written and directed by McQuarrie, will be shot concurrently, Cruise revealed in January 2019. Soon later, new and returning cast members were revealed, and Lorne Balfe, the composer of Fallout’s score, made a comeback. In Italy, filming started in February 2020 but was put on hold because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Other filming destinations included Norway, the United Kingdom, and the United Arab Emirates. It resumed later that year and concluded in September 2021.

It is the first installment in the series since Mission: Impossible 2 (2000) to not feature J. J. Abrams, and it is the first installment since Mission: Impossible III (2006) to not be produced by Abrams’ Bad Robot Productions. It is one of the most costly movies ever created, with a possible $291 million budget.
