Another relaunch of the Police Story film series, Police Story 2013 (also known as Police Story: Lockdown) is a 2013 Chinese-Hong Kong action crime thriller film directed and written by Ding Sheng and starring Jackie Chan. Ding Sheng, who previously oversaw Chan’s Little Big Soldier, is the film’s director. Chan doesn’t play a Hong Kong police officer like in the earlier Police Story movies; instead, he plays a mainland Chinese officer.
2013 is a standalone episode, similar to New Police Story, with a darker tone than the preceding episodes, which were funny. The most recent and sixth episode of the series is this one.
