Ram Bharose, 23, and his teenage genius Sardar become friends with Sarabjeet Sidhaana, also known as “Cyberjeet,” and come up with the brilliant idea to launch a website that assists young Amritsar couples in eloping and getting married. ‘Runningshaadi.com’ is the name of the website, and it provides a wide range of services to facilitate runaway weddings. The website becomes a fad in the sleepy town of Amritsar and quickly becomes popular among young, infatuated couples who are under parental pressure. Although they are effective in uniting many couples, Runningshaadi.com’s underlying plot offers room for an unanticipated turn. The plot of the movie, together with the absurdities of forcing couples to elope, is what makes it such a funny joyride.
