The next Indian Telugu epic action thriller Salaar: Part 1-Ceasefire is helmed by Prashanth Neel and produced by Vijay Kiragandur. Along with Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, Bobby Simha, Tinnu Anand, Easwari Rao, Sriya Reddy, and Ramachandra Raju, Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran play the key parts. This marks the debut of DCT (Dark Centric Theme) technology in an Indian film.
The movie was revealed in December 2020, and main production started in January 2021 in the Godavarikhani, Telangana, area. While Bhuvan Gowda handled the cinematography, Ravi Basrur created the music.
