In her first directing role, Sonal Joshi crafts a comedy film in the Indian language of Hindi in 2023 titled Sukhee. Alongside Amit Sadh, Dilnaz Irani, Kusha Kapila, and Pavleen Gujral, Shilpa Shetty plays the main part. The movie came out on September 22, 2023.

In just seven days, Sukhee relives her teenage years and goes through a range of experiences. She emerges renewed, reborn, and goes through the most difficult transition of her life—going from being a wife and mother to being a woman once more.
