The movie received favorable reviews from reviewers when it was released in theaters on October 6, 2023, following its September 15, 2023, Gala Presentations section premiere at the 48th Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF).
Following a resounding box office flop, the movie was made available on Netflix on December 1, 2023.
