Tiger 3 is a 2023 action thriller in the Hindi language, directed by Maneesh Sharma and produced by Yash Raj Films’ Aditya Chopra. Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, and Emraan Hashmi are the film’s main stars. It is the fifth entry in the YRF Spy Universe and a follow-up to Tiger Zinda Hai (2017). The events of Pathaan (2023), War (2019), and Tiger Zinda Hai (2017) are the backdrop for the movie.
Filming was done in Vienna, Delhi, Mumbai, Istanbul, Saint Petersburg, and other locations starting in March 2021. Tanuj Tiku composed the background score, and Pritam wrote the soundtrack for the movie. With an approximate budget of ₹300 crore, the movie is the most costly production Yash Raj Films has ever undertaken.
Tiger 3 was released on November 12, 2023, in standard, IMAX, 4DX, and other premium formats. It was released around Diwali, and critics gave it mixed to positive reviews, praising the action sequences, technical aspects, and performances of the cast (Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, and Emraan Hashmi in particular), but criticizing the plot, soundtrack, and pacing.
