Horror comedy is a genre that is being explored a lot by Bollywood filmmakers. While some films like Bhool Bhulaiyaa (2007), Bhoothnath (2008), Go Goa Gone (2013), and Stree (2018) have impressed the audiences, movies like Gang of Ghosts (2014), Laxmii (2020), and others have failed make a mark.
Now, it’s time for audiences to watch one more horror comedy, Bhoot Police. The film stars Saif Ali Khan, Arjun Kapoor, Yami Gautam, and Jacqueline Fernandez in the lead roles.
Bhoot Police is about Vibhooti (Saif) and Chiraunji (Arjun). They are brothers and professionally they are exorcists. But they thug people just to earn money. One day, Maya (Yami) meets Vibhooti and Chiraunji and asks them to help her get rid of Kichkandi (a type of witch) which is there in her estate. So, is there actually a Kichkandi in Maya’s estate? How will Vibhooti and Chiraunji get rid of Kichkandi? Well, watch the film to know that.
Making a horror-comedy is surely not an easy task; you need to make the audience laugh and scare them at the same time. Well, director Pavan Kirpalani and his team of writers have done a fantastic job in Bhoot Police.
From the first scene to the last scene, the movie will keep you hooked, and there’s not even a single dull moment in it. It has the perfect amount of thrills and chills, and there are many scenes that will make you laugh out loud. The dialogues in the movie are damn good, especially the one-liners mouthed by Saif and Jacqueline.
