Lance Henriksen stars in the 2015 indie science-fiction monster horror film Harbinger Down, which is also referred to as Inanimate in the UK. It was written and directed by Alec Gillis and produced by Tom Woodruff Jr., the owners of StudioADI, with special effects.
The movie centers on a group of graduate students researching how a pod of beluga whales in the Bering Sea is affected by global warming while residing on the crabbing trawler Harbinger. After recovering a downed Soviet spacecraft covered in a block of ice that appears to be virulently afflicted with tardigrades, they come under attack from shape-shifting extraterrestrial creatures.
