Anamaya Roy Choudhary or Ana, is a hardworking single mother living in Delhi with her six-year-old son Romi. Their lives revolve around a packed routine that balances both Ana’s career and her son’s upbringing. However, when Romi is tasked with talking about his non-existent father at school, his curiosity sparks a unique idea — he demands a new papa on a 30-day trial period.
Prajapti Dwivedi, also known as PD, is a simple yet affable man from Ujjain, who takes on this unconventional job but not before Ana ensures that her hidden terms and conditions are followed, in order to ensure that Romi never yearns for a father again.
PD’s personality collides with those of Ana and Romi, which leads to distinct family dynamic. They come from different worlds; PD’s being classic and academic whereas Ana and Romi’s being modern and creative. However, despite their differences, deep bonds form among them while they navigate the ups and downs of an imperfect family together.
