It is challenging to surpass the standard that Sujoy Ghosh set for himself with the Vidya Balan-starring film Kahaani. And it’s clear in the majority of his later ventures where he took on the director’s role.
With Jaane Jaan, the trailer foretold great things and made things appear to be quite exciting, but the movie only just manages to live up to the anticipation or even approach the intrigue level it set out to produce.
