Rajpal Yadav, Giaa Manek, and Kurangi Nagraj play the key parts in Palash Muchhal’s 2024 Indian Hindi-language drama film Kaam Chalu Hai (translation: Work is in process). The movie is based on Manoj Patil’s true story. Pal Music & Films and Baseline Studios are the producers.
The Indian Motion Picture Producers’ Association, or IMPPA, has selected Kaam Chalu Hai for Cannes Film Festival 2024 promotion. On April 19, 2024, ZEE5 distributed the movie digitally. Critics had varied feelings about Kaam Chalu Hai. Some praised it for its moving depiction of a father’s journey and the significant social message it carries, while others panned it for its erratic pacing, cliched moments, and shallow character and plot development.
